The international congress and meetings industry has grown in recent years in both volume and complexity. Terminology has expanded and new markets are opening up requiring the inclusion of additional languages.

IAPCO is delighted to bring to the marketplace the latest edition of the meetings industry’s leading dictionary of over 900 words, an encyclopaedia of communication, now available Russian, bringing the total number of languages into which it has been translated to fifteen.

Embracing the great diversity of services, techniques and equipment now on offer, the Meetings Industry Terminology dictionary covers every aspect of event organisation, including information exchange, meeting room set-up, technology, facilities for participants and cultural and social activities.

The initiative for the Russian volume was created by a colleague from Ekaterinburg who participated in the 2009 ‘Wolfsberg’ Seminar – Elena Vazhenina, the General Manager of the Hotel Moskovskaya Gorka.
