In the competitive world of localization it's not unusual for companies to make exaggerated claims about their products to get a little bit of attention. Translation Management system could integrate any content management system with any translation system, there may have been a few raised eyebrows. However 18 months and no complaints later, Clay Tablet has unveiled v2.5 at the Localization World Conference in Berlin which continues until tomorrow. This version comes with two new features: InSync Master Asset Management (MAM), and MultiPoint Flexible Routing technology (MFR). Both are available with on-site or SaaS versions and combined, give users centralized translation asset controls and enhanced content flows like post-editing, between numerous systems or vendors. As a system, provides integration software that enables users move content out of a system, to a translation system and back again – and automatically assembles the finished, translated content in the users system. With this new feature, the master system becomes the centralized control point for the updating or upgrading of a particular asset, which then ensures that collaborating systems get the most up-to-date information from that instance. Clay Tablet says this new system will: - Prepare files faster and more efficiently using as central TM - Designate one team as master asset manager - Safeguards latest translations and prevents overwriting with older TMs - Synchronization of assets across multiple locations - User-defined business rules with asset routing defined by user rather than master vendor - Connectors for leading translation technologies and systems source: www.cmswire.com See also:
